Patty Axford, Vocals, Guitar, Co-founder - Wheelhouse is led by Patty's amazing vocals covering a wide range of styles. Patty has performed and recorded professionally across the country and internationally. Patty is also an award winning professional photographer and owner/photographer of Patricia Axford Photography, a member of the PPA, the NHPPA, PPAM, and PPANE and a photographer for the nilmdts non-profit organization.
Kevin Visnaskas, Guitar - Kevin began playing professionally in his late teens with various cover and original bands. Most notable of these was Eastwood Peak; the band released independant label singles that garnered favorable reviews in publications such as Melody maker and Trouser press. Kevin has continued playing and recording with the Installers and other projects, including a stint with J. Geils' Bluestime. Kevin resides in southern New Hampshire where he teaches guitar and bass.
Steve Preston, Drums - Steve's the co-founder and core of Wheelhouse with his blend of Americana and jazz styles. Steve learned to play the drums at the age of ten and played his first professional gig at age fifteen. He's played his entire life and attended Umass Lowell where he studied with local legend Fred Buda. Steve married his childhood sweetheart, put down roots in Groton and keeps busy sitting in with local bands.
Steve Esposito, Keyboards, Vocals - Playing professionally since 1977, Steve is currently covering the keyboard duties with the blues band Red Devil Lye, original recording artist ArteK, studio project Vertical Mode, and, of course, Wheelhouse.
Dave Howard, Bass - Dave has been playing in bands for over thirty years, most of that time living in southern New Hampshire. Dave's main focus these days is Wheelhouse but he can still be seen performing in the area with other local groups.
